The mission of the International Fund for China's Environment (IFCE) is to help ensure the protection of the world's environment and its biological diversity by providing assistance to China in resolving its environmental problems. In pursuit of this mission, IFCE undertakes activities focused on China that include:

  1. Establishing an international membership base and global partnerships that include individuals, institutions, foundations, environmental organizations, corporations and governments to promote conservation;
  2. Contributing to an increased global awareness of the interrelationships between China's environmental problems and human well-being, through publications, information dissemination and education;
  3. Supporting for projects that seek solutions to China's environmental problems;
  4. Providing a forum for the discussion of China's and the world's environmental issues, including their scientific, educational, legal, economic, social, and cultural dimensions;
  5. Communicating authoritative statements on China's conservation efforts by utilizing the expertise of its members; and
  6. Assisting for the development of regional, national, and international strategies for safeguarding the environmental rights of future generations.
