  • Co-organized with RenminUniversity of China and Green Earth Volunteers of china for the 4nd NGO Forum on International Envrionmental Cooperation in Kunming in Nov. 2005. About 130 people from USA and China attended to this Forum. Final Report.

  • Capacity Assessment for Environmental NGOs in Southwest China

    IFCE conducted a workshop to evaluate the current capacity of the environmental NGOs in southwest China and developed recommendations on training priorities. The workshop was held in Beijing at the 3rd NGO Fourm and the analysis was completed in 2004. Critical Ecological Partnership Fund was the main sponsor for this project.   • Co-organized with Renmin University of China and Global Village of Beijing for the 3nd NGO Forum on International Environmental Cooperation in China in Nov. 2003. Four hundred twenty six (426) people from China, USA, Europe and other countries attended. Forty five (45) media agencies covered the event. Final Report.

  • Accredited by UN as one of major environmental NGOs, IFCE sent two representatives to attend World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg, South Africa, August, 2002. IFCE participated three Chinese NGO Caucus meetings and helped issue a statement to UN. That was the first time Chinese NGOs had a voice at UN event. Photos.

  • Lead a coalition of 5 NGOs and organized 1st NGO Forum on US-China Environmental Cooperation in Washington DC in September , 1999. Ninety six (96) people from sixty-three (63) organizations in China and US attended to the Forum. The former Vice President Gore praised it as a "historical event". Final Report.
